Creative Workshop

What is Creative Workshop?

Creative Workshop, near the Nishikata Gate, was established in 2007, even before the founding of Center for Project-Oriented Enginerring Education as an organization. The facility started with the purpose of filling the gaps in students knowledge and develop engineering education and to provide a place for product development. It is also a place for fostering the skills of planning, experiment, creation and teamwork through product development, based on the principles of observation, hypothesis and evaluation, all of which are currently missing from undergraduate education and students' lack of experience in product development. Initially, the workshop was involved in robotics, F-tec and Formula Cars. Due to its host of equipment for mechanical processing, the workshop is now mainly focused on robotics, but as a new activity, the ARLISS Group has become more involved, and both have shown good results in various competitions.

Project-Oriented Enginerring Education supports the workshop with safety management, equipment maintenance, student counseling and receiving requests.
