About 3D Printers


The Monozukuri Department supports everything from ideation and planning to manufacturing and development when University of Tokyo students are involved in research or personal projects.
At Room 434 in Faculty of Engineering Building no. 5, you can use digital processing machines like 3D printers and laser cutter.

 

How to Use

After registration, you can use the Room 434 for the following purposes. Registration and discussion about how to use the room is handled on a one-on-one basis, so please either fill in the contact form.

9:00 am-5:30 pm (lunch break 12:00 pm-12:45 pm)

Introduction to the Equipment

 

3D Printer


-Can output any shape designed using CAD-

Laser Cutter


-Can engrave/cut plastics, wood, and etc using laser-

 

Cutting Plotter


-Can cut cutting sheets, sponge, rubber using blades-
